Job Title: Performance Manager Location: Havant Salary: £39,412 - £52,055 depending on skills and experience Permanent | Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available | 37 hours per week The Role Like all energy suppliers, SSE are busy installing new Smart Meters in customers' homes and business across the UK. With hundreds of meter installers out on the road daily, as well as many more joining the organisation we are now looking for a Performance Manager to focus on the optimisation of our Mobile Workforce Management system - Oracle MWM. In this role, you will be ensuing that our job scheduling system, MWM is configured effectively to deliver business KPI's and efficiency savings. You will work to analyse business performance against KPI's and will leverage the system to make improvements resulting in increased productivity. Acting as business expert, you will facilitate the transfer of your knowledge to our field staff to upskill and empower our operatives to have a deeper understanding of the MWM system and also to support them in working smarter and leaner in their day to day roles. This role won't only focus on numbers and spreadsheets. You will be sharing data and insight with a wide range of stakeholders, from both a technical, and a non-technical background therefore you must be able to bring the information to life and provide information that is trusted, suitable and relevant to diverse audiences. You will interact with a diverse range of project stakeholders and will work collaboratively across several SSE functions to ensure projects are delivered to deadlines without operational risk. Your Skills and Experience We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, be used to working to set deadlines in an operational environment that is geographically diverse and enjoy working as part of a team. Your background is likely to be that you have worked in a highly numerical and analytical role and have used your ability to turn data insights into a compelling story & set of actions. We are looking for someone who has experience working with Oracles MWM product and can offer a level of except knowledge in this however for a strong candidate, training will be provided. A knowledge of SSE's metering business, or the UK Energy market is a benefit but not essential.
