We are looking for two high performing and enthusiastic Snr Oracle Engineers to join the team in Global Loyalty Technology in Burgess Hill. This roles will partner closely with our product owners within a collaborative scrum team, in a DevOps environment that values interesting challenges, using best practice testing and automation, and prioritises your professional development. As a Senior Engineer, you will be a proactive person with a passion for driving change and improvement across the team, including the selection and adoption of tools and practices. Role and Responsibilities: Conduct code reviews to ensure code meets development standards and utilises best practices. Identify opportunities to resolve technical debt and improve the code base, ensuring code quality metrics improve with each release. Mentor junior team members. Foster an automation first approach to how we build, test and deploy code. Design and develop scripts/tools for PL/SQL Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployments (CD). Design and develop automation templates/tools for provisioning, configuration & change management. Beta Test - Build and deploy applications to dev/test environments. Plan, schedule and ensure timely project deliverables & milestones. Lead identification and development of operational tools and systems. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and timeliness of deliverables. Liaise with key stakeholders such as Enterprise Architects, DBAs etc. to align on approach and architecture for the deliverables.
