Job Description Job Title: National Sales Manager - Structural Decking Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 Basic + Commission Based Bonus Location: Ideally Midlands but will consider applications from anywhere in the UK Start Date: ASAP Duration: Full Time / Permanent Do you want to work on some of the UK's most iconic buildings? National Sales Manager Role: The successful Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets set by the board of Directors through engaging with clients to secure work and to foster long term strategical partnerships in line with our clients company values. Additionally, you will assist the Business Development Director in promoting and increasing the sales of profiled sheeting materials and associated products and to assist in the promotion of the combined deck and concrete service. This role is remunerated by a basic salary with an "On Target" based bonus scheme. We think that somewhere in the Midlands would be an ideal base for this role, but we don't really mind where you are -as long as you don't mind spending a fair amount of time on the road. National Sales Manager Key Responsibilities include: To achieve the sales figures in line with the targets set by the board of directors and listed as the departmental KPI's . To deliver all the targets set out in the departmental KPI's Organise & attend client visit meetings with new and existing clients at the frequency highlighted in sales strategy report. Update internal CRM system with details of all client meeting outcomes and details. You will be providing both technical and commercial guidance and ensuring they understand the full package of our product ranges and services. Attend pre-contract meetings to agree scope of works and contractual requirements such that the commercial team can finalise bids and contracts. To assist the Business Development Director in updating and implementing a sales strategy for the business that is aligned with the overall strategic aims of the business. To investigate market activities and assess threats and opportunities to SMD as well as identifying any potential new suppliers and clients for this market sector. To be responsible for the creation and achievement of your own personal development with the support and agreement of your line manager. To drive continuous improvement, ensuring all current processes and procedures are continually challenged and developed, and new opportunities for improvement explored, developed and implemented throughout the business. Act as a key point of contact for clients at both pre and after sales as well as liaising with the Estimating and Contracts teams to ensure that a thorough and complete level of service is provided every time to drive repeat business.
