Currently recruiting- Mobile Maintenance and Installation Engineers in Swindon to work for a rapidly growing and successful client.
Main duties for the Maintenance and Installation Engineers:
Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance to deliver a high quality of service at all times. Ensuring budgets and timings of the plans submitted are in line. Responding to breakdowns reporting and diagnosing faults to ensure electrical safety and reporting required actions to the administration team and client. During repair or installation notes should be taken and reported of any site specific lamp/access/ requirements for future use. Reporting to the HQ Administration support at commencement, mid stage and end of schedule to ensure the customers can be fully briefed at all times. Complete job recorded must be accurate, fully completed and signed by the customer. They must be sent recorded delivery if not delivered by hand. Carry out energy surveys and identify opportunities to reduce energy costs. You must ensure that you are managing your key van stocks and demand for each project. Re-ordering and correct part numbers process must be followed at all times. Engineers will be smartly dressed wearing company provided t-shirts and must ensure that their equipment including van is well maintained and kept clean at all times. (We provide a quality service) While training is provided it is expected that engineers will be expected to know/learn the technical description of lamps, their types and fittings. Unless routes are defined it is expected and will be checked that engineers will use the most efficient route to a project and unless otherwise stated star at site for 8am. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all health and safety legislation. Report and damage, speeding or traffic violations on the day supported by a report and photos of any damage.
