Due to an employee retiring a well-established manufacturer of plastic components is now looking for a Machine Controller. You will be working 12 hours shifts, 4 on, 4 off, days and nights.
Preparing and supplying ingredients required for the production process
To make sure the amount of ingredients is sufficient to supply current and following shift
Using plant equipment according to H&S rules.
Meeting productivity targets
Working both as a Machine Operator and on the production line
To report any inconveniences such as faulty equipment to the Shift Leader to avoid potential accidents
Complete production documentation to enable progress against production targets
Ensure all weighing equipment is operating accurately via a system of regular checks
Ensure that product quality standards are met and maintained, support Shift Leader in making judgmental decisions where required
The Machine Controller will have GCSEs in English and Math, will be capable of lifting up to 25Kg and able to be on the feet for long periods. You will have at least 3 years' experience of working in amanufacturing environment.
