Roles and Responsibilities:
As Service Controller, your responsibilities will include: * Liaising directly with customers * Manage workflow of Service Engineer work orders * Reactive to changing demands and priorities * Manage the engineer schedule, to ensure their time is used effectively * Manage the work-in-progress process, ensuring all open jobs are reviewed regularly * Follow up with engineers, customers and suppliers for job progress * Assisting with the submission of warranty claims * Arranging inspections and repair lists * Ordering parts * Ordering and supplying technical documents
Skills and Experience
The successful Service Controller must be able to demonstrate: * Excellent customer focus and communication skills * Past experience in a service control position * Strong English literacy * Ability to work under pressure * Ability to take ownership of a problem * Preferred previous experience in a commercial machinery environment * Engineering/electrical/hydraulic experience would be an advantage * Knowledge of CRM would be an advantage
