Mechanical Site Manager - Fawley, Southampton - Up to £69k - Car/Car Allowance - up to 6% pension matched contribution - Company Accommodation & Flights provided - 25 days holiday + stats - Leading international industrial services company

Our client, a leading international industrial services company is looking for a Mechanical Site Manager to be based at Fawley Oil Refinery in Southampton, with an immediate start.

You will have overall operational responsibility to manage & Lead the supply chain to deliver fit for purpose work scope activity to an agreed strategy and plan. Additionally, you will provide support, as required, to ensure construction activities are planned, scheduled, and executed to meet the goals and objectives of the business.

Ideally we are looking for the following:

You will have a Mechanical background (Pipefitter/Mechanical Fitter/Mechanical Engineer etc), and worked up through the ranks (Manager level). You should should have Mechanical Management experience working on Refineries, ideally one or more of the below;

* Stanlow, Fawley, Lindsey Oil, Grangemouth, Pembroke, Humber P66, Coryton

Responsibilities:

* Prepare, review & approval of key documents for construction activities.
* Manage the day to day workforce activities.
* Manage the schedule and cost for the site to the agreed bassline and improve Gross Margin.
* Lead the project management, engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning activity.
* Provide information for the commercial process, prepare local instructions to contractors and ensure that work is effectively managed to control costs.
* Develop, lead and execute construction strategies and plans, in line with the overall contract policy.
* Support & lead the site based supervisory management team in discharging the Supervisor duties required under contract
* Responsible for managing tenders and resources in accordance with ISTe requirements
* Attend and actively engage in all client led meetings to ensure that the business is promoted at every opportunity.

We will consider the following experience:

* Relevant Mechanical Engineer Qualification
* Site Pass / Green Card Holder Essential
* NEBOSH / IOSHH qualifications desired
* Experience in devising and implementing an operational plan
* Estimating and valuations
* Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project / P6 Primavera

Package:

* Up to £69k per annum
