Well-respected and highly successful female fashion brand, based in South Manchester, is looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to oversee group brand management and all offline marketing (including retail).
Reporting into the CEO and overseeing the work of a Marketing Executive, you will work very closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, as well as the buying, merchandising/VM and retail teams. You will be responsible for brand development and homogeny across all touchpoints. You will oversee visual identity, brand experience, copy/tone of voice, packaging, PR, photoshoots, retail marketing/POS and all off-line marketing collateral. It is a wide and varied role, where no two days are the same. One day, you could be working on a bridal brochure, the next working with a large department store, ensuring all seasonal POS is mirrored across concessions. You will keep abreast of trends, competitor analysis and how the high street is changing, to ensure that the brand remains relevant and competitive at all times, while jointly managing the marketing budget for the whole of the group with the Digital Marketing Manager.
To be considered for this role, you must have some commercial experience of fashion or beauty. You will have worked as a marketing or brand manager, operating at a senior level with budget responsibility. You must have retail marketing experience (candidates from purely online/ecommerce businesses will not be considered, unfortunately) and understand the pace and the touchpoints involved in the successful marketing of a brand within the retail space. You will have overseen PR and messaging (working with external agencies) and, most of all, will be a creative guardian, able to direct, protect and develop the brand across all customer-facing touchpoints. Finally, you will have a passion for the fashion industry and the trends by which it is inspired.
