Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer - Permanent - £36,000 - South Wales
Working for a leading company within their sector, we have an immediate requirement for an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to operate on a regular day shift basis.
Working within a small, responsive multi-disciplined team, your duties will include:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance including trouble shooting and RCA. Update and develop engineering documentation such as P&ID's, SLD's, loop drawings and procedures. Develop scopes of work and aids with project planning & execution. Acting as a competent person, developing and maintaining maintenance inspections to meet statutory requirements (IEE Reg's, DESEAR...). Assists with the management of external contractors. Operates with a high degree of H&S awareness in-line with site safety management system. Provides cover for site call out requirement, allied to additional payment.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates will hold the following skills & experience:
Previous experience of working within a chemical or process industry within an Electrical & Instrumentation role 17th Edition Wiring Regs C&G Testing & Inspection (2391) Compex Ex1-4 certification Knowledge of PLC (AB ControlLogix) Previous experience with safety instrumented systems/critical process systems Experience with CMMS systems
