Our client is a leading building services contractor based in South Wales. Working in the commercial construction sector, they specialise in electrical installations of new build schools, university buildings, hospitals and factory units.
THE JOB BRIEF
This contract is a new build student accommodation. Your role will be to assist the project Managers with the supervision of direct staff, contractors and sub-contractors. You will co-ordinate installation and ensure quality control and that installation is on schedule and within budget, assisting when required. You will be responsible for procuring and maintaining correct materials on site, carrying out monthly tool box talks and maintain accurate daily records to report to the line manager. You will ensure that the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates or reports.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
JIB Card Graded as a Plumber or Pipefitter 17th Edition Wiring Regulations SSSTS Minimum 3 years working on a commercial construction projects
DURATION OF WORKS
6-12 months with the possibility for the right candidate to continue onto further projects with this client or other clients of ours.
