Senior IT Desktop Support Analyst/Project Analyst Our client a leading organisation in the world of Sport Legislation are looking for a Senior IT Support Professional for a newly created permanent role based in Central London offering, £30,000-£35,000 plus benefits. The role has 3 core focal points: Firstly, you will be responsible for 1st and 2nd line desktop support for all IT requests, incidents and queries directed to the IT Service Desk taking full ownership, secondly you will contribute to assigned projects and provide support for IT projects as required, planning project work with your daily Service Desk work. Finally, on occasions you may be required to supervise other team and project resources and direct their workload. Success factors in this role: Support side: Delivery of proficient desktop technology support for all hardware, software and telephony services together with a high level of customer service ensuring that customer requirements are met, incidents resolved, and queries responded to within agreed service level targets. Supporting the IT systems that the organisations need to carry out their jobs. This includes, Office 365, Windows 7, Office 2016, Lenovo PCs and Laptops, iPads, Printer/Photocopiers, audio visual equipment and all the associated software and Internet connections. Support and maintain IP telephony system, mobile phones, and BT voice estate. Ensure all calls received by the IT Service Desk are logged, updated and resolved in a timely and accurate manner in the call logging software. Be responsible for the escalation of incidents to the appropriate IT team or external supplier to ensure that issues are dealt with efficiently and within agreed service level targets. Prepare and run short training sessions and create training guides for new starters and colleagues. Participate and contribute to regular IT Change Management and Problem management meetings. Project Support: Knowledge and experience of participating in and supporting project implementations. Specifically; Office 365, Windows 10, hardware rollouts. Able to work as part of a team to deliver a scheduled programme of work. Liaising with and extracting information from users Software and hardware migrations and troubleshooting Examples of current and recent project work includes; Office 365 implementation, PC/laptop refresh, Windows 10 upgrade. Relationship management: To work with a range of suppliers for IT hardware and software to resolve service issues Develop and maintain relationships with our IT hardware and software suppliers so that we are kept up-to-date about new products and services. Skills we are looking for: A degree, HND or recognised vocational qualification in an IT related discipline ITIL Service Management Foundation Certificate ideally Prince2 or similar project management qualification (desirable) Previous experience of providing effective 1st and 2nd line IT support within a similar sized organisation Technical knowledge and experience of supporting; Windows 7, Windows 10, Active Directory, Office 365, Office 2016, IE11, Citrix, Checkpoint, Mimecast, LANDesk, iPads and iPhones, Lenovo hardware. Office 365 rollouts and supporting Office 365 experience would be highly desirable. Sourcing, building and imaging PC's and laptops Project support experience with; Office 365, Windows 10 and hardware rollouts. Good written and oral communication skills and a proven ability to effectively interact with and support non-technical business users of all levels.
